Philia Handmade

This was one of those projects that was simply a pleasure from beginning to end. Hannah’s style evokes community, warmth, and adventure, and was so fun to bring to life through color and design!

maker brand design mood board

Hannah designs and sews beautiful quilts and other sewn goods - each one is thoughtfully, carefully pieced together, and feels like a hug from the maker. She wanted a logo that could be used for both her quilt business, and perhaps another business down the road.

An olive branch is a symbol of peace, and also shows growth. Mountains were a big part of the inspiration board, so I decided to evoke them in a subtle way by enclosing the olive branch in a rustic triangle, letting the branch grow out of ‘Philia’, and stacking ‘handmade’ underneath. The result? Perfect for Hannah’s brand.

This project included lots of print materials, which were a lot of fun to put together. From care tags to thank-you card to business cards, it was wonderful to see the brand come together in a cohesive way.
