Easy to Kill
Also known as Murder is Easy, this is a standalone mystery featuring romance, suspicion, and of course, a culprit you won’t see coming.
A classic village whodunnit, Easy to Kill finds Luke, a former policeman, on his way to London and sharing a train compartment with a fluttery old woman. To his surprise, she claims that people are being slowly & systematically murdered in her little village, though the deaths are being ruled as accidents. When he later hears of her accidental death due to toppling into traffic, and yet another accidental death is reported in her village, he decides to investigate.
A handlettered title (naturally), detailed border, and sketched birdcage complete this cover redesign. If you've read the book, the birdcage is a significant plot point upon which much of the motive hinges. 👀
I realized I inadvertently chose Miss Marple mysteries for 2/3 of these covers, so OBVIOUSLY that means I need to do three Hercule Poirot covers, right? And maybe three Tommy & Tuppence?
