Hanna Caroline Photography

What: A full re-brand for a photography business, including a website and full brand package

Who: Hanna Caroline Photography

How: Through moodboard building and a consultation as well as a thorough questionnaire

Hanna was one of those dream word-of-mouth clients, who was recommended to me by another client and friend. She came into our first consultation like a bright ray of sunshine, and proceeded to make my job probably the easiest it’s ever been! From the start, she was all positivity, and couldn’t wait to rebrand in preparation for the new year. She is a wonderful portrait & wedding photographer, and has such a beautiful, heartfelt style to her images. I mean, look:

Isn’t that the sweetest?

She knew she wanted her brand to include elements that reflected her sense of fun and adventure. I knew she often wore hats, and wasn’t afraid to walk in the woods to get the perfect shot, so we decided to incorporate plenty of greenery, a hat icon, and some woodsy colors.

After going over her palette and moodboard, I decided to branch out and try a few new typefaces I hadn’t used before. I wanted her logo to feel unique and fresh, and beautiful without being fluffy. I included a few hand-drawn elements (don’t I always?) and designed a horizontal, monogram, and watermark logo for her.

Though I don’t yet include printed collateral with my branding projects, I like to include inspiration for my client to get their own business cards or postcards printed. These business cards feature an embossed texture that reflects Hanna’s hands-on approach to her photography, and builds a tactile experience around her brand.

Once the rebrand process was nearing its close, I started work on her website! I designed it to be image-rich, with plenty of space and room for her enthusiasm and energy. It’s responsive, flowy, and full of movement. Click the image to explore!

Hands down one of my favorite projects to date, and my first client since including web design in my branding packages. Thank you, Hanna!
